This is a great little bakery on Magazine St.This small shop that is easy to miss unless you are looking for it.

the store

There are many choices for baked goods in this city but this one stands out because it specializes in cupcakes for $3 each. I know that’s a little expensive for a single cupcake, but it was a rich, moist cupcake. However, I was a little tiffed that there were only 6 choices. If you only sell cupcakes, shouldn’t you have a ton of variety? And shouldn’t those varieties be more creative than your typical oreo cupcake or red velvet? If I owned a cupcake store, I would invent a different flavor every day!

with so many to choose from (sense the sarcasm), I went with red velvet cake, an all time favorite. The cakes are pretty to look at (it better be for $3!). But I think if you’re from out of town, then other places may be more exciting like Sucre and such.
