La Boulangerie in New Orleans

La Boulangerie
4600 Magazine Street
New Orleans, LA

Everyone in New Orleans knows that if you want yummy baked goods, you go to La Boulangerie.  This French bakery is famous for their croissants. This place is cash only so please plan accordingly. All baked goods are made fresh every morning and sold until they run out. The seating area isnt as nice as the baked goods but most people take their orders to go anyways.

I started off with a peach danish which wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. I think the peach flavor just might not be meant for a danish but I’ve had the other ones before and the blueberry one and raspberry one is amazing.

I ended my breakfast with a chocolate almond croissant which was amazing. All of the baked goods are light and fluffy and this croissant was no exception. The chocolate is baked inside the croissant and coated with chopped up toasted almonds. This is by far my favorite.

I'm a food aficionado with an interest in photography. Most of my restaurants will be in New Orleans as I will be here over the next few years. Every now and then you will see a post from Boston or Philadelphia too!
