What I’m Reading + Equipment

My equipment:
1. Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD (Body Only)
2. Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens
3. Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM SLR Lens for EOS Digital SLRs
4. Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM 1-to-1 Macro Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras
5. CowboyStudio Macro Ring Flash LED Light Works with Canon/Sony/Nikon/Sigma lenses

How did my obsession with cookbooks begin? Funny you should ask, it all started with the movie Hocus Pocus (yea the 3 sister witches, Bette Middler, Sarah Parker and the other one). I was fascinated by her “human-skin-bound” spellbook with potions and incantations for everything from sucking the lives of innocent children to turning eavesdropping teenage boys into black cats. I wanted one! Unfortunately, the fattest book in my house was a dictionary and I knew that wouldn’t fly. The next fattest book in my house was a Betty Crocker cookbook (my mom’s, circa 1980s). And it was similar enough to a spellbook for me, with recipes for potion brews, I mean delicious food…
